ChipMOS REPORTS RECORD HIGH QUARTERLY REVENUE; 33.8% YoY INCREASE IN SEPTEMBER 2026 REVENUE; 36.7% YoY INCREASE IN 3Q26 REVENUE
Hsinchu, Taiwan, October 8, 2026 - ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES INC. (“ChipMOS” or the “Company”) (Taiwan Stock Exchange: 8150 and Nasdaq: IMOS), an industry leading provider of outsourced semiconductor assembly and test services (“OSAT”), today reported its unaudited consolidated revenue for the month of September 2026 and for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026. All U.S. dollar figures cited in this press release are based on the exchange rate of NT$31.85 to US$1.00 as of September 30, 2026.
The Company noted its third quarter 2026 revenue represents a record high, with revenue growth driven by sustained AI-related demand outpacing available memory supply. While the Company continues to invest in footprint expansion, new capacity is being deployed to meet existing customer forecasts and long-term supply agreements, as structural supply constraints persist and demand broadens across most of the Company’s memory and storage end markets.
Revenue for the third quarter of 2026 was NT$8,400.8 million or US$263.8 million, representing an increase of 13.8% from the second quarter of 2026, and an increase of 36.7% from the third quarter of 2025.
Revenue for the month of September 2026 was NT$2,792.0 million or US$87.7 million, representing an increase of 0.2% from August 2026, and an increase of 33.8% from September 2025.
