One of our more contrarian calls was the 9.1% mild correction we saw in Feb/March would be the largest pullback of the year. We started to say that back in May and this wasn't a popular call. In July, many bulls were cutting their targets and calling for a bear market in Q3. The reasoning was midterm years tend to see the largest corrections. This could now be the earliest max peak-to-trough correction in a midterm year since 1958.
